Remember Danche from earlier this year? It’s now back and it’s fresh from the 2025 harvest!
Nestled in Danche, a small village in Ethiopia’s Worka Chelbessa region, this mouthwatering coffee comes from entrepreneur Neguesse Debela. After establishing his first processing site in 2017, he expanded operations in 2019 to include the Danche washing station.
Now, Neguesse and his family manage both sites, producing high-quality washed, natural, and experimental coffees. Danche’s distinct profile is achieved through a traditional Ethiopian process: a 36-48 hour underwater fermentation, followed by 10-14 days of drying on raised beds.
The result is a coffee that embodies the best of washed Ethiopian beans, with a crisp mouthfeel and a harmonious balance of sweetness and floral notes. Expect delightful flavors of nectarine and Honey Smacks.
